This Guitar Music Book filled in a lot of holes in my knowledge of guitar. It’s well laid out with lots of examples and exercises. It’s helped me learn some music theory, blues scales and some great techniques. It perfectly summarizes the whole area of scales, chords, blues scales, arpeggios, modes and more. It includes recorded playbacks to practice with. I highly recommended. Get one!

This Guitar Music Book is suitable for beginning guitar student. So please take my review in the appropriate light. The book “Music Theory” is a unique addition to my quickly growing guitar library. Music theory throughout the book is presented systematically from triads to seventh chords to altered chords and so forth. So, if you don’t get it jumping ahead is not going to help. I am sure that it really does lend itself as a supplement to any guitar method because the material is universal.

Overall, this is a good guitar theory book as long as you have an understanding of basic theory for beginning.
